Me-Time in Rome: Where to Relax & Recharge

Need a break from sightseeing (or the kids)? Here’s where to go in Rome for some well-deserved me-time:

1.Steam Room at Acqua Madre – Step into these thermal baths in the ghetto and let the heat work its magic. This is as close to an ancient Roman thermal baths experience as you’ll get, complete with icy frigidarium to jump into at the end. Included in the price is a 15 minute deep scrub. It’s just around the corner from the charming turtle fountain in the ghetto. TIP: Book ahead and bring a book to make the most of the relaxation room.
Cost: €55 (entrance + scrub)

And classes are bilingual. Rebuild and restore strength in the Baby & Me class or enjoy a Vinyasa class whilst your child (ages 3-6) does a Kids Yoga session next door. Children explore mindfulness through breathing exercises, yoga pose sequences, and playful yoga games.
