1. Download the app
Go to the App store or Google Play and download the Trova trails app onto your phone.
2. Choose your adventure
Preview the trails, then purchase the one you’re interested in. Each trail is €9.90, or buy all five trails for €19.99.
Once the trail downloads to your phone you’re ready to go. Explore at your own pace: start when you want, pause when you want.
3. Get exploring!
Get cracking to find clues, solve riddles and gather information as you learn about the history of Rome.
No need for a map or a guide; the app directs you around the site and feeds your curiosity with historical information and facts.
Who is it for?
Trails are recommended for seven to 107 year olds.
But families come in different shapes and sizes so our trails are flexible. Younger kids can help searching for clues in the scavenger hunt. Parents choose how much information to read them; include the ‘fun facts’ but perhaps skip the longer ‘Did you know’ sections and the ‘Gruesome facts’.
How many people can play?
The trails can be used alone, in a couple or as a group. But we think they’re most fun as a family: which of you will solve the hardest riddles? Who will find the trickiest clues? Your children might surprise you…
